The Role


Faithful+Gould is a construction consultancy and member of the WS Atkins group of companies. As one of the world’s leading total solutions providers for the built environment, Faithful+Gould has been providing a versatile blend of construction, program, cost and project management to private companies and the public sector for more than 60 years.

We currently have a need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a project site based in Riyadh.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, preference will be given to KSA Nationals / Arabic speaking Muslims.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Full quantity surveying services as required
- Manage teams of Quantity Surveyors and Intermediate Quantity Surveyors
- Delivery of service to clients on a project-by-project basis
- Liaising between client and other consultants
- Effective communication with F&G senior management

Technical Competencies - Essential

- Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 10 years experience
- Ability to advise clients on project costs
- Effective and efficient knowledge of a range or project procurement options and services
- Computer literate
- Leadership
- Presentation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of component parts of a project and overall construction costs

Technical Competencies - Desirable

- Experience in project management/construction industry
- Experience of controlling and managing small project teams
- Gulf experience

Behavioural Competencies - Essential

- Self starter
- Punctual
- Confident
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to act on own initiative and in a proactive manner
