CH2M HILL Senior Real Estate Economist - Doha, Qatar

Project Info & Job Purpose:

Qatar will be hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup and become the first Middle East nation in history to stage this event. The associated construction programme will be part of a major country regeneration programme including the development of required infrastructure, competition and noncompetitive venues.

CH2M HILL is the programme management (PMC) responsible for the construction management of competition venues, training sites, associated common domain precincts and the coordination of the regeneration programme integration works, acting on behalf of the client Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee

Senior Real Estate Economist will be responsible for developing business plans and business cases for real estate investments across the programme.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Senior Real Estate Economist will be responsible for developing business plans and business cases for real estate investments across the programme.

The Senior Real Estate Economist will develop the strategies for how real estate assets will be developed and managed

This leadership position will manage stakeholder relationships with owners and operators of various assets

The Senior Real Estate Economist will be responsible for writing reports, developing financial models, and preparing presentations as well as managing the business planning function across the organization.

Requirements

Key qualifications for this position include:

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, real estate or a related field. MBA a plus but not required.
• 15+ years of experience in economics, consulting, financial analysis, asset management, and/or real estate finance.
• Prior work experience in real estate development and/or preparation of business plans and investment memorandums. Prior work with major consulting firms a positive.
• Expertise and willingness to develop Excel financial models required
• Strong work ethic with ability to deliver reports, presentations and financial models in a professional manner under short deadlines.
