The Role


The Role


• Operates as ‘recruitment business partner’ to the Advisory Consulting & Deals sectors of the PwC Middle East region, ensuring all regional recruitment best practices and processes are followed;
• Regular formal and informal meetings with key internal clients – Partners, Directors, Senior Managers – to ascertain regional recruitment needs, update on progress and communicate recruitment strategies;
• Identifies opportunities for regional recruitment campaigns and plans, communicates, implements and ‘drives’ these campaigns;
• Works closely with Human Resources Managers & Recruitment Managers in all markets on the region to ensure cost to hire, time to hire and quality of hire is consistent across the region and achieves maximum efficiencies;
• Directly responsible for end to end recruitment of all Advisory appointments in the UAE from Director level though to Associates and Graduates – including planning, sourcing, selection and on-boarding – ensuring the ‘Candidate Experience’ is always top quality.

• Pro-active, delivery focused recruiter (or HR Manager with good recruitment record), who communicates regularly and consistently with internal clients, building and maintaining strong business relationships;
• HR Generalist or Recruitment Manager 5 + years experience at Manager level or above required;
• Experience of In – house recruitment essential, including managing small teams. Agency background is a definite advantage;
• Professional Services and / or Big 4 expertise and knowledge is essential;
• Knowledge and experience of the Middle East Region is an advantage
• Experience and proficiency in human resources and / or recruitment technology is essential (i.e Oracle / Applicant Tracking Systems such as Kenexa and Taleo);
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing top quality candidates on line from Job Boards and Social Media (Linked in / Facebook) and a proven track record in running on line recruitment campaigns (e-mail shots, on line banners etc.) is essential;
• Experience and expertise of selection techniques essential including competency based interviewing and designing and running assessment centres is essential. Evidence of use of a variety of selection techniques including group exercises, case studies and analytical exercises is required;
• Professional Human Resources or Recruitment qualifications an advantage (i.e CIPD, Level A / B Psychometric Testing);
• Knowledge and expertise in manpower planning is an advantage;
• Fluency in written & verbal Arabic communication is an advantage.
