Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a large local bank. Due to expansion across the region, our client is looking to hire a Senior Recruitment Officer with solid banking experience to work in their Doha head office.
The Senior Recruitment Officer will coordinate all recruitment related activities. Assisting the Head of Recruitment, you will source, screen and present best available candidate profiles from the database or recruitment agencies, filling approved vacant positions with the most competent professionals. You will also negotiate salaries and compensation with shortlisted candidates, check reference letters, arrange interviews as well as liaise with management and functional banking group heads. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the recruitment databases and personnel files are up to date.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have at least 7 years of recruitment experience within the banking industry. You should have the ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment and meet tight deadlines. It is essential you are professional, meticulous and possess strong computer abilities. Excellent English communication skills is crucial while Arabic would be advantageous.
