Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role is to Act as a relationship manager to a portfolio of customers in the assigned geography/sector coverage and be the first point of contact for all banking related issues.
For MNCs act either as primary account manager (PAM), i.e. main point of contact for customers head offices, obtain global credit approval and allocate limits to appropriate geographies or act as secondary account manager (SAM), i.e. main point of contact for customers local operations
Understand and learn key customer requirements and identify opportunities to market the banks products
Act in line with and meet agreed upon revenue and sales targets
Build and develop client base in the assigned geography / coverage as well as maintain a database of prospect clients
Maintain close market intelligence through interaction with clients, prospects and other sources
Cultivate existing client relationships as well as establish relationships with new clients
Assume responsibility for joint sales approach to clients involving product specialists
Manage deal teams with respective product specialists effectively achieving an acceptable risk/reward ratio
Be knowledgeable about and sell full variety of product portfolio (embody cross-selling culture) with special focus on cross-selling fee-income products
Maintain close and constant contact with clients to closely monitor account performance and ability to detect early warning signals to safeguard the banks interest
Keep abreast of developments in the business environment and the economic conditions of the assigned coverage
Establish access to all client's mid-level decision makers within client organization to enforce mass cross selling opportunities of products that are not decided upon at top level
Perform the above functions in accordance with bank policies and wider regulations
Provide support and assistance by handling special assignments from time to time
Such other work as may be assigned from time to time by your reporting line management

Requirements

5 to 7 years relationship Banking experience in GCC (preference on KSA market knowledge)
Must have own network of client contacts in the assigned sector / industry desirable
Good command of broad product range for treasury products, credit products, investment banking, transaction banking and Islamic banking products
Experience in credit analysis including preparing of business credit proposal
Degree in Business Administration, preferably major in Finance.
Excellent communication skills in English, preferably also Arabic language skills
Result driven, hands on, dynamic with ability to work under sales oriented environment
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; good negotiator
