Job description / Role
- Be the primary relationship manager to a portfolio of customers in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals industry
- Act in line with and meet revenue and sales targets agreed upon
- Build and develop client base in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals industry throughout the GCC region
- Maintain close market intelligence through interaction with clients, prospects and other sources
- Cultivate existing client relationships as well as establish relationships with new clients
- Assume responsibility for joint sales approach to clients involving product specialists
- Manage deal teams with respective product specialists effectively achieving an acceptable risk/ reward ratio
- Be knowledgeable about and sell full variety of product portfolio (embody cross-selling culture) with special regard to fee-income business
- Provide and update detailed account plans for each client of portfolio as part of bottom-up account planning exercise
- Establish access to client's mid-level decision makers within client organization to enforce cross-selling of products that are not decided upon at top level
Requirements
- 10 years corporate banking experience in GCC
- You must have your own network of client contacts in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals industry desirable
- Good command of broad product range for treasury products, credit products, investment banking, transaction banking and Islamic banking products
- Experience in credit analysis including preparing of business credit proposal
- Experience in leading sales teams
- Degree in Business Administration, preferably major in Finance, or degree in Engineering in connection with background in Business Management
- Sound people management capabilities are required, along with excellent communication skills in English
- Result driven, hands on, dynamic with ability to work under sales oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; good negotiator
