Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Develop the UAE market, with focus on Dubai & Northern Emirates area and contribute to achieving a significant increase in the client base with a strong focus on Trade Finance
- Develop the mid-cap to lower corporate" segment in line with the banks strategy
- Develop relationships with key decision makers and owners and achieve set goal targets
- Prepare a marketing sales plan on a periodic basis identifying target clients to the bank to pursue and follow up with ongoing calls
- Explore and maximize cross-sell opportunities for all products across the bank
- Enhance the depositor base and market liability products
- Work closely with other banks in the UAE as and when required in order to issue bonds for contractor clients
- Position the bank as the clients advisor of choice
- Structure facilities to be offered to clients based on the clients needs
- Obtain information to prepare credit applications, including financial spreads complying to bank SLA's
- Network in the market and identify early warning signals that effect the business or credit quality of client portfolio
- Ensure that all compliance matters are adhered to strictly
- Preparation & submission of MIS reports, call reports and other requirements

Requirements

- At least 10 years in commercial / corporate banking positions
- Has at least 7 years experience with banks in the Dubai area with relationships at senior level with clients
- Exemplary credit skills
- Holder of University Degree, preferably in banking or finance, or MBA from a top-tier university
- Excellent communication skills in English, preferably also Arabic language skills
- Result driven, hands on, dynamic with ability to work under sales oriented environment
- Should have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and should be a good negotiator
