Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1) Manage a portfolio of complex local relationships, Establish, build and maintain on-going relationships with clients to develop and protect business income.

2) Grow local income from new-to –bank and existing customers and identify successful global links referrals from China.

3) Manage responsibly the associated operational and credit risks.

4) Work to broaden and deepen relationships with customers,Deliver a superior customer experience.

5) Client contact is normally at senior management or director level.

6) Negotiate full implementation and project requirements.

7) Formulate short and medium term plans to retain, deliver and develop solutions for our clients.

8) Co-ordinate commercial proposals and negotiate with clients to retain and maximize profitability.

9) Introduce solutions, where appropriate, through third party companies, which are of mutual benefit to all parties e.g. technology providers.

10) Act as the main escalation point for customer portfolio.

11) Ensure key client contacts are kept fully aware of industry initiatives and future developments.

12) Create and support key existing business initiatives and developments.

Requirements

1) Fluent English is essential and fluency in another language (preferably Chinese is a distinct advantage).

2) 5+ years experience in a client facing/marketing or sales support role.

3) Have an extensive experience working within Commercial Banking.

4) Have knowledge and understanding of Banking Products and Services.

5) Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

6) Ability to multi-task and reprioritize work and demands simultaneously under time pressure.

7) Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate appropriately within this team environment.

8) Excellent relationship building skills, ability to interact with varying levels throughout the organization.

9) Self starter with the ability to not only recognize tasks to complete but also how best to effectively and efficiently complete them.

10) The ability to recognize work in the pipeline and willing to work to completion.

11) B.A., B.S., in relevant field.

12) MS Office.
