Senior Researcher - Strategy and Planning

Job description / Role

Senior Researcher is required by a leading strategic consultancy and advisory company to join a key team within this esteemed organisation. You will be playing a key part in working on innovative and market leading projects and assignments.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Strategic research of internal and external opportunities, business plan development and monitoring, and incubation of new projects and assignments.
- Creating, writing and delivering high-impact presentations and plans for both internal and external projects.
- Support senior internal management and leaders with research and insights to enable development/ articulation of annual strategies
- Work with senior stakeholders within the organisation to achieve yearly research targets
- Work closely with external providers to drive research and content development
- Support manage the creation of internal research reports
- Identify thought leaders and partners to execute research projects and assignments
- Lead and support idea generation and brainstorming sessions with the team
- Support on the development of thought leadership platforms

- Ability to work under pressure, short deadlines and extra hours if needed on assignments
- Professional appearance, trustworthy and discrete
- Additional language skills are beneficial but not essential

For the post you would have either worked at one of the following:
- Research agency, management consultancy or played an active part or participated in think tanks.
- Exposure of the Government, or Public sector would be highly advantageous, or working with a wide range of market sectors.
- You must have a minimum of 4 year experience and must have strong academic credentials i.e. MBA, Masters (Economics, International business, public relations, public policy) would be all beneficial.
