Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company.
JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:
1. Conducts reservoir simulations studies designed to define optimum full field reservoir development plans (primary, secondary, and tertiary depletion scenarios).
2. Works within an inter-disciplinary team to build and quality control the dynamic model.
Integrates SCAL, core analyses and PVT data during the development of integrated models for full field development plans.
3. Directs and participates in reservoir testing, evaluation and interpretation activities and recommends optimum methods of performance monitoring.
4. Includes setting reservoir testing programs, interpreting results and liaising with other team members and Field Operations personnel to coordinate reservoir engineering requirements.
5. Ensures final reporting well file updating for all analysis and field data and ensures data input by concerned staff.
Requirements
1. B.SC in Petroleum Engineering
2. Minimum 13 years of experience
3. When involved with study projects, should ensure the receipt, calibration, computer manipulation and output of production test data.
4. Provides advice to other team members on reservoir engineering aspects of the study.
