Job description / Role
Senior Resident Engineer (Marine Works) - Dubai, UAE
As Senior Resident Engineer you will lead a supervision team tasked with monitoring and supervising the contractors daily activities, monitoring and reporting on progress, quality and safety commensurate with requirements of the Contract. You will representing the interests of the Client and undertake the duties and obligations defined in the Contract.
The successful liaison and coordination with stakeholders and contractors, on the high profile project(s) will be a significant contributor to the success and delivery of the overall vision.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the supervision of the works
- Key interface with government client
- Leading and managing the site supervision team
- Administration of the Contract between the Client and Contractor
- Certification of payments
- Monitoring of progress
- Reporting of progress and production of progress reports
Requirements
- Previous RE Experience on large scale projects
- Relevant Degree from an recognised university
- Minimum of 20 years relevant experience
- Strong contractual background on large projects
- Direct experience of working with RTA would be an advantage
- Experience in leading a large multi-disciplinary team
- Marine construction experience would be an advantage
