Job description / Role
Senior Resident Engineer - Buildings
An international and highly reputable consultancy in the UAE has an immediate requirement for a Senior Resident Engineer to work on a large-scale and prestigious buildings development.
The successful candidate will report into the Project Director and be responsible for monitoring the construction process on site.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the planning and resource allocation for the project
- Attending meetings with the Client, Contractor and other Consultants
- Subcontract and contract administration
- Supervising the Contractors work to achieve construction in accordance with the contract documents
- Reviewing Contractors technical submissions
- Providing all necessary on-site directions and instructions
- Ensuring all materials and equipment meet the required specifications
Requirements
Qualification:
- Degree in civil or structural engineering with 15+ years buildings related experience. Previous experience of working as a Resident Engineer within the Middle East as well as strong leadership, coordination and client facing skills are essential.
