The RoleThe RoleMy client is an award winning professional services company, renowned throughout the world for its impeccable quality of service and innovative methodologies. Due to its rapid success in the Middle East, they are now looking for Risk Managers / Senior Risk Managers for the financial services teams in the various GCC offices. The scope of the role on offer is large, and they each present the successful candidates with the opportunity to work with some of the most impressive regional and international banks in the world. You will be responsible for: business development; credit, market, operational and liquidity risk management, Basel II and Solvency II gap analysis and implementation; set-up and design of risk management functions and processes; and developing risk policies and procedures. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo apply for this role you must have 4-7 years relevant experience, working within a reputable financial institution. Credit risk management and Basel II are essential and candidates without such experience will be rejected immediately. A PhD or MBA in finance is preferred, although candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years experience will also be considered. A professional qualification such as ACA, CFA or FRM is also desired. |
