Job description / Role
Manufacturer of chilled and frozen food.
Tax Free Salary package up to USD48K annual (all inclusive) + medical & ticket.
Based in Jeddah.
Our client is one of the world's leading producers of chilled and frozen food. They are looking for a Senior Route Planner to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The key responsibility is to achieve significant improvement in the company’s daily transport operation through efficient route planning and service quality in order to improve customer satisfaction and bottom line costs.
Requirements
Requirements:
• 5-7 years total experience in Transport / Route Planning. Saudi experience an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills in dealing with routing and operational performance of large road transport fleets – to include schedule planning, cost analysis, process improvement.
• FMCG, Food and cold chain operations focus. Experience with refrigerated loads an advantage.
• Strong analytical & planning abilities - must be very comfortable in using routing software (Roadnet).
• Good numeracy skills, able to work flexibly and make decisions quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Preferably native Arabic speakers but all candidates will be considered.
