Senior SCADA / OCS Specialist

Job description / Role

Salary: 40,000 to 45,000 plus Family Package benefits

Based in the UAE, our client is seeking an experienced Based in the UAE, our client is seeking an experienced Senior SCADA / OCS Specialist to manager all aspects of the pre and post contract administration including administrating the master control system architect planning, development and specification, risk assessment and hazard analysis.

With at least 8 years experience in a similar role you will be familiar with reviewing system performance, establishing strategies and procedures for the operating control system over an entire rail network.

You will closely work with other rail agencies departments and experts you will be that everything is safe, reliable and meeting international best practice standards.

Some Responsibilities in Include:

Management of the Master Control System.
Review and Monitoring the system and establish strategies and procedures.
Review the system design, interfaces, construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
Conduct frequent site visits to ensure and monitor work progress.
Monitor and assess contractor and engineer performance related.
Hand over documents, drawing reports, warranties, and certificates are in compliance.
Risk and Safety Management of the system as per contract and standards.
Local Travel expected is 40% of role.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering.
8 years experience with Rail industry.
Analytical, innovative and driven.
