Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objective: To provide excellent customer service, achieve and exceed personal targets with a high drive to develop and maximise product sales. The candidate will be working closely with the store manager.

Main Responsibilities:
• Achieve personal sales targets set by line manager
• Identify key clients and develop effective client relations to create repeat and continued business.
• Maximize sales by utilizing client books and sales ability.
• Maximize sales by advising customers on further purchases i.e. complimentary outfits and add-on sales
• Support the manager in implementing new in–store sale initiatives.
• Support the Manager through seasonal trends and the application into collection themes.
• Intermediate buying knowledge with women’s fashion
• Good communication skills at all levels are essential.
• Adhering to the standards of operations and support the manager in achieving the store goals.
• Assist in visual merchandising of store.
• Ensure security procedures for merchandise are observed at all stages in the sale process, i.e.; fitting room, point of sale, and blind spots on shop floor.
• Conduct store orientation for new employees where required.
• Provide sell through data to line manager (frequency to be determined by line manager)
• Provide feedback on customer preferences and buying behavior to line manager. (frequency to be determined by line manager)
• Attend as required and always contribute to regular line management and team meetings including training sessions on product knowledge and general sales.
• Carry out all assignments as directed by line manager.

Reporting to: Store Manger
Number required: 1
Duration: Permanent position
Desired start date: 23 March 2014
Probation: 6 months
Working hours: 8 hours per day; days to be decided
Gross monthly base salary: Paid in AED, tax free
Other Benefits: housing allowance, transport allowance and health, yearly ticket.

Requirements

• Educated to certificate level relevant and/or adaptable to the practices of Fashion retail
• A minimum of 2 years experience. This will ideally have been gained within fashion retail industry.
• PC literacy – the ability to use Microsoft office with minimum intermediate skills.
