Job description / Role
Overall management of the sales and business development activities in respect of Marine and Industrial repair activities, Fabrication, OEMs, new building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set sales targets (in conjunction with senior management).
- Lead the regional sales and business development in marine and industrial sectors.
- Public Relations and Marketing.
- Customer relationship management.
- Coordination with Estimation and Invoicing.
- Assisting with management of claims and disputes.
- Assist with debt collection
- Represent the company at Marine exhibitions and seminars.
- Manage prequalification procedures.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Engineering Graduate/Diploma
Minimum Experience: 15 years
Job-Specific Skills:
- Around 15 years relevant experience, 5 of which should be in a managerial position.
- Experience in the marine sector in a commercial function.
- Experience in Estimation.
- Business driven and hands-on operating style.
- International experience and working in Multi-cultured environment.
- Performance Management, process improvement skills/experience.
Generic Skills:
- Computer literate.
- Strong financial, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of engineering good practice and principles.
