Job description / Role
Our client is an international solar energy and HVAC solutions provider and due to their continuing success in the GCC, we are recruiting Sales Engineers for their growing team based in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing new business opportunities to establish the requirements and participate in RFPs and tenders
- Conducting site visits and pre-sales audits with contractors and consultants to establish the requirements
- Preparation of technical presentations and proposals related to engineering sales
- Working with the technical teams to develop solutions and products
- Lead the negotiations and contract terms
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory
- 5 - 10 years experience gained in the GCC, preferably the UAE, in business development and account management in solar energy and HVAC engineering sales, particularly in the hospitality and leisure industries
- Experience of working with contractors and consultants
- Experience of working within a mechanical engineering organisation whose products include boilers and pumps
- Effective negotiation and commercial skills
- Ability to prepare financially sound proposals
- Experience of process and product design and engineering
Candidate Profile
- CGG driving license
- Fluent in English
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
