Senior Sales Executives – Distribution, Qatar

Our client is a global network of sports channels with headquarters across the Middle East, France, Indonesia and the US is currently undergoing significant executive talent growth given its formation in 2012. The firm currently operates and provides services across the Middle East, North Africa, France, USA, Indonesia, Canada, Hongkong and Thailand. The Executive Team are now looking to recruit Senior Sales Executives to their Distribution Team across the MENA region. These roles are responsible to develop and implement sales and distribution strategies to manage and expand the subscription distribution network for the firm’s MENA channels for individual subscribers, B2B subscriptions, direct retail outlets and IPTV providers. We seek Senior Sales Executives for the distribution regions for Qatar, the GCC, Egypt, LEVANT and Maghrib / North Africa.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Distribution MENA, these roles are responsible to:

• Establish and maintain a good understanding of all of the firm’s MENA services and content.
• Implement strategies to manage and expand existing subscriber distribution network across the firm’s MENA territories.
• Manage commission structures and maintain dealer partnerships.
• Ensure effective distribution of any new technologies or systems for subscriber access (e.g. set-top-box, smart-cards) and work with the distribution channels to ensure that anti-piracy measures are put in place.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to support anti-piracy initiatives.
• Manage the implementation of strategies to grow the business-to-business subscription base and development of direct retail outlets across the firm’s MENA territories
• Manage contracts and related revenues and disbursement across the distribution network.
• Develop and maintain relationships and communication with all distributors and ensure they are aware of channel and programming developments and priorities.
• Manage relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
• Liaise closely with CRM department to ensure consistent and effective communication with subscribers.
• Ensure compliance of brand guidelines across the distribution network.

Requirements

The attributes we seek for suitably qualified candidates comprise:

• Bachelor in Business (Sales or Marketing) or comparable with a minimum of 4 years sales experience in B2B sales, ideally in subscription or PayTV/broadcasting.
• Experience in the MENA media sector is essential.
• Bilingual language skills in English and Arabic are required.
• Exceptional communication skills with strong negotiation abilities are required.
