Job description / Role
Our client is a leading television network/content provider in the Middle East and is expanding their reach to the Retail/Modern Trade channel across the region with an initial focus on developing the UAE market
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible to drive sales of the category/products within the Retail/Modern Trade channel in the UAE. Working with the distributors to ensure the strategy is put in place to exploit the opportunities and tackle the challenges of the regional dealer and commercial channel in order to create a consistent approach to the channel and therefore deliver a best practice performance. Pioneer the leadership and work closely with marketing and the local sales directors to position the brand within the retail channel that in turn maximizes revenue output
Requirements
- A university degree or similar within business administration or marketing
- 6-7 years of solid track record in Key Account/Modern Trade/Retail channel sales in the UAE; hands on sales and operational experience
- Ideally someone from the FMCG/Consumer Industry who has managed the Retail channel on a senior level will be the best fit
- Fluent in verbal and written English and Arabic preferred
- Team player with ability to get things done through others (working within a matrix management structure)
- Results oriented, structured, analytical and well organized
