Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
* The primary responsibility of this role is to acquire new customers who have a requirement for a small business loan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Recognizes market opportunities, understands similarities and differences of competitors, and effectively communicates the GFC value proposition.
* Follow strategies, business plans, and marketing plans as set out by GFC to drive sustainable business opportunities with external customers
* Proactively and consistently seek new to bank customers through daily cold calling and use of referral resource
* Understand GFC SBL product and services including features and benefits.
* Understand financial statement and or bank statement interpretation and ability to present an application for credit approval
* Actively consults with prospective borrowers to provide the appropriate financial solution for the assessed customer need. Introduces clients to key partners (Vehicle Finance Team, Relationship Management Team) if the appropriate customer solution is not a SME product.
* Consistently and accurately collects necessary documentation including application
* Engages fulfillment partners to successfully deliver product/service to customer within approved SLAs.
* Communicates with applicants to provide timely updates and manage expectations.
* Utilizes company approved devices (e.g. PC and/or blackberry) for communication and access of rates, customer information, Fulfillment communications and other critical activities related to the loan origination process.
* Ensure customer is well informed and quickly responds to requests.
* Presents self in a courteous, friendly and professional manner and adheres to appropriate dress code
* Encourages customer to complete Customer Experience survey
* Finds opportunities to deliver GFC brand promise

OTHER
* Additional duties will be added from time to time as per requirements or changes in the company policy.
* Apart from the above mentioned duties adherence to the company policies, rules and regulations are required.

Requirements

* 3 or more years experience of SME origination
* Experience with Salesforce origination system preferable
* Strong Sales expertise with a proven sales record
* High school diploma or equivalent required. Four-year college degree preferred.
* Knowledge of SME lending processing, underwriting, and closing procedure
* Computer proficiency
* UAE Driver's license.
* Car/bike self-owned or rented
