The Role


The Role


Parsons International is looking for an experienced Scheduler to join their team and work for a prestigious mega scale development project in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Scheduler will be responsible for:

• Developing and updating project schedules and anticipated program durations.
• Performing analysis of contractor’s schedules to validate baseline schedule for activity sequencing, time allotted to individual activities, and the logic used in developing the schedule.
• Reviewing and advising the Project Manager on subsequent revised programs.
• Analyzing construction drawings, specifications, proposals, and other construction documents to determine time impacts from proposed activities and changes to the contract documents by applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles and processes.
• Providing advance warning on potential impacts of change and specific mitigation measures that can be employed.
• Reviewing and monitoring project status and progress and preparing reports to the Management and the Client reflecting any deviations from the projected progress.
• Communicating with Management to evaluate contract performance.

Experience and Qualification:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction or similar degree.
• Minimum 5 years scheduling experience with competency at negotiating scope changes in heavy construction.
• Advanced understanding of materials, methods, procedures and the tolls involved in the construction of water/wastewater treatment facilities, utility networks, pumping stations, drainage structures, support buildings, tunnels, bridges, highways and roads.
• Proficiency in critical path construction scheduling and analysis.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency with construction document control, tracking software and scheduling software such as P6.
• Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer registration is desired but not required.
