Senior School Inspectors of Key Subjects

The Dubai School Inspection Bureau is seeking bilingual (Arabic/English) professionals with subject expertise in Arabic, Islamic Education or Social Studies to participate on private school inspections in Dubai. DSIB is also seeking individuals with subject expertise in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies or English as an International Language.

Responsibilities - Participate as a team or lead inspector in adherence with the DSIB framework and guidelines; write reports were judgements are accurately recorded.

Requirements

It is essential that applicants have experience of living and working in an international context. Applicants should have experience and knowledge how of these subjects are taught within the context of different curricula; for example UK, US Common Core; French or International Baccalaureate (IB).

Competencies include the ability to: assess complex and conflicting evidence; reach secure judgements and report these accurately; represent DSIB to external stakeholder; demonstrate effective leadership and management. Some roles demand a high level of competence in the use of Arabic.

Essential skills include: Excellent oral and written communication in English; good interpersonal and well-developed IT skills.
