Senior Section Engineer

Job description / Role

International Building Contractor is looking to recruit a Senior Engineer / Project Engineer for a Major Building Project in Dubai worth in excess of 1.2 Billion AED (200 Million+). The Project is a high profile & complex building project consisting of various types of construction within this Mixed Use Development of 13 Number Buildings. With Areas of Commercial, Residential & 1 Hotel. There will be large scale earthworks, concrete substructure & superstructure plus all associated specialist packages such as Facade, MEP, Joinery & Internal Fit Out.

The Engineering Manager wants to bring into the business a sharp , intelligent and quick Civil Engineer. Educated to Degree Level & Chartered this individual will be able to manage a team of engineers, liaise and manage sub contractors, deal with design coordination & interface and trouble shoot where necessary. Working closely with the Technical Manager, Package Managers & Delivery Team this role is a great first step into a Major Project for someone wanting large scale buildings experience

Requirements

- Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Civil Engineering Degree
- Main Contractor or Sub Contractor Experience on site
- You will be able to adapt and manage lots of aspects from supervising a large concrete pour through to management of facade contractors or designers when needed . A can do attitude and desire for success is instrumental in the contractor finding there right person.

A Tax Free Basic Salary of 43-48,000 Pounds Plus Apartment or Housing Allowance, Car, Fuel, Mobile, Laptop, Flights, Medical & Bonus is on offer for the right individual.
