The RoleThe RoleAccountable for: • Security best practices as per Risk, Legal and Compliance policies. • IT security threats / needs for Arab Bank globally and counter measures. • Security configuration and operation manuals and standards. • Adherence to P&Ps and prompt closure of related Audit findings. • Development of IT long-term strategic plans and annual budgets. Key Roles: • Evaluate, implement, manage and operate security solutions across the Arab Bank globally. • Follow up ITC to ensure proper use and implementation of security solution in Arab bank globally. • Continuously Evaluate IT security threats / needs for Arab Bank globally and develop, design, recommend plans counter measures. • Design and develop security standards and manuals. • Support the team responsible for managing Arab Bank security devices (Firewall, HIPS, IPS, IDS, …, etc) • Participate in managing IT security incidents, provide security event analysis, higher level support and manage remediation. • Ensure compliance of IT system with Bank technical controls and P&Ps. • Provide other departments with the necessary security consulting and advisory services and security recommendations for new IT solutions and services. • Participate in the development of IT security P&Ps. • Address security related audit findings, vulnerability and penetration testing, IT security incidents after-action reports and recommendations and implement proper actions to close them. • Participate in the procurement committees and provide the needed technical assessment and recommendations. • Manage the technical projects team on both support / operational and project related tasks • Support the team responsible for managing and operating Arab Bank global security solutions and services (MSS, VA, Penetration tests). |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience: at least 10 years in IT technical positions in a major financial institution or in a networking solutions vendor, of which at least 5 years in a similar position. Skills: • Creative and innovative. • Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills. • Strong Technical writing and editing skills. • Strong communications skills. • Persuasiveness. • Diversified IT technical background. • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work collectively with business partners. • Knowhow: detailed level know how of the security architecture and infrastructure. • Management Capabilities: excellent analytical and problem solving, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, communication and inter-personal and negotiation skills. • Security and Networking related certifications; ex. CCNP, CISSP, CCSP, CCIE Security, etc. Education Graduated degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Engineering/Computer Science) |
