Job description / Role
Known for design excellence, my client has become an integral part of the Middle East with offices in UAE, Qatar, and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and projects across the Gulf countries. There strong ability to build relationships within the region gives them the ability to work on only the most high profile projects as well as their continued success with repeat clients.
They are currently looking to expand their team to work on a very exciting project within the healthcare sector and with this in mind they are very keen to bring on board an experienced Senior Site Architect with extensive interior healthcare experience to assist with the development and completion of this project.
Responsibilities:
- Hands on in monitoring the interior architectural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
- Reviewing, and processing all interior shop drawings and architectural technical submittals.
- Coordinating and supervising the work of all interior architectural activities and operations.
- Lead the coordination process with other disciplines for all clinical spaces specially the coordination with Medical equipment suppliers
- Review and inspection of materials and suppliers to ensure required standards
- Visit manufactures/suppliers to ensure quality will be achieved
- Liaison and coordinate with the necessary specialized sub-consultants.
- Reviewing the contractors project record documents relevant to their discipline.
- Managing the interior inspectors.
- Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the interior architectural works.
- Prepare weekly technical interiors report
- Signing off on completed interior architectural works with completed documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 10 to 15 years general experience with minimum of Five 5 years Health care hospital project experience.
- Bachelor of Architecture from a reputable establishment.
- Strong technical knowledge in interior details and Hospital fit-out.
- Strong knowledge in accommodating/coordinating medical equipment requirements.
- Good knowledge of the building code and hospital guidelines.
- UAE experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to multitask.
