Senior Software Architect - Western Automation Specialist

Job description / Role

Leading Western automation specialist is urgently looking to hire a Senior Software Architect to join their team in Kuwait.

Salary: up to 1500KD

Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Provide technical leadership to team members on technologies.
- Design and develop the architecture and core components of the application.
- Design, code review, implementation, testing, and debugging to support work on proof of concepts, research tasks as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate shall have a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

The ideal candidate must have:
- Designed and delivered quality customer-facing/Real time applications, while providing a rich UI experience and keeping scalability as main factors.
- Excellent hands on Test driven development experience in web and middle ware technologies & frameworks: Java, JEE, Spring (MVC, JPA, Security), Hibernate, Web Service REST/JSON, JUnit, HTML 5, JavaScript frameworks AngularJS, Backbone etc.
- Working experience on database technologies MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and Knowledge of application servers like Tomcat, JBoss; version control system and build tools like Maven, Ant, Gradle.
- Knowledge of Database partitioning, sharding, replication is good to have.
- Experience in SOA and SOA related technologies, solutions and products is good to have.
- Expertise in design of complex distributed systems utilizing underlying services (generally REST) to deliver robust and scalable applications to end users.
- Designing reliable, high performance, multi-threaded and scalable software platforms
- Should have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, self-driven and learning attitude.
