The Role

The Role


• Responsible for developing new products and services (Fixed & Mobile) as well as solutions for the business customers.
• Assisting the corporate product development team in introducing new products and services to the corporate market.
• Responsible for developing a ‘go-to-market’ plan for all the solutions and is responsible for driving/ leading the solutions from inception to finish.
• Driving product development processes across Omantel functional Units (primarily Sales, Network and Corporate Communication) through market requirements, product development, product portfolio positioning band product launch.
• conduct meetings with the corporate customers along with the sales team to assist in selling the solutions to the corporate customers as he will have the ‘know-how’ and the right tactics to sign a deal with customers and help the sales in selling the solutions.
• Assisting Senior Manager Product development in developing annual product roadmap and Business plans.
• Coordinates with Pricing team (Marketing Planning & Performance) to develop Products financial studies/ Models and product and services pricing.
• Identify optimal product bundles to deliver to the corporate market segment.
• Responsible for new products and services launches across concerned Departments and divisions.
• Coordinates with Corporate customer care and sales Senior Managers to develop specific sales strategies in the assigned corporate market segment.
• Responsible for product and services training to Corporate Sales, customer care account management, call-center teams and internal Units and Departments.
• Coordinates with Market Research Manager to conduct Market surveys if required.
• Report/presentation preparation for senior management.



Education Required
• B.S degree in any of the following areas: Marketing, Information systems, IT, business Administration, engineering or relevant areas.

Work Experience Required
• Requires a min of 5 years in the telecom sector
• Requires a min of 5 years working experience in Telecom services & product development
• Requires a min of 3 years of experience in Marketing
• Requires a min of 2 years in managerial positions

Job Knowledge Required
• Requires Business, Marketing and technical oriented Knowledge.
• Project Management knowledge
• Telecom solutions knowledge & experience

Technical Skills
• Knowledge on Telecom services
• Marketing and sales knowledge

Language Skills
•Excellent Communication skills in both English and Arabic OR English only
