Senior Specialist – Digital Marketing
Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Manager oversees the digital marketing strategy and to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
Devising strategies to drive online traffic to company website.
Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns.
Utilizing a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.
Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
Managing the design of the company website.
Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website.
Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.
Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
Given the cultural sensitivities, all role responsibilities must be conceived and tested to ensure bilingual Arabic/English integrity of the intended message, consistent within corporate guidelines and brand positioning.
Respecting strategic marketing and PR deliverables, identify communication opportunities and “key messages” as priorities across the life cycle of the Mall; craft and merge the message content with social media technologies to stimulate and encourage interactive communications and affiliation with the Mall’s identity.
Apply social media to rationalization of PR Demand Load, segment market research, customer research, market conditions, competitor data and develop the recommended Social Media Business Plan.
Contribute content to Smart-Phone applications.
Draft all SM content for subsequent approvals; participate in updating the mall's website and social media outlets.
Requirements
Business Capabilities:
6+ years experience in digital and social marketing
Previous expertise in large scale public developments (e.g. Malls, airports, entertainment venues, leisure destinations) or in major marketing firms.
Experience managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate programmes.
Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
Experience in serving as an SME in online opportunity and damage management.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Working knowledge of ad serving tools
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Interpersonal skills:
Bilingual (Arabic/English)
Demonstrated advanced communication, motivational and interpersonal skills; commercially astute; resilient
Key Performance Indicators:
Media awareness achieved; statistical penetration and retention.
