The Role


The Role


-->JOB PURPOSE:

Over-all & day-to-day Devices and Number Management, as well as handling of all regulatory aspects related to Numbering.

-->PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS:

 Product Development lifecycle, Roadmap development, product scoping and planning for Terminals- for Mobile & Fixed Services, SIM and Recharge vouchers as well SIM applications.

 Device Management including portfolio and solutions

 Monitor and evaluate existing partners, portfolio performance, and analyze Customer Feedback

 Define contractual and service level agreements with third party vendors, and managing contracts throughout the lifecycle

 Operate in conjunction with Sales Managers, Marketing Managers, and technical teams to understand market and customer needs and to ensure product suitability.

 Work with Marketing Communications to develop appropriate support materials and communication items necessary for a successful Portfolio launch into the market.

 Provide support to sales and pre-sales teams on an as-needed basis.

 Plan and ensure proper internal training to all departments and distribution channel management regarding content offered.

 Product Documentation and Change Control Management process

 Ensure Proposition Go to Market governance

 Research and analyze market trends, needs, new product development, and service enhancements

 Building in-depth product & market knowledge
• Over-all Number Management and Numbering Plan requirements for Mobile, Fixed, Short codes, toll free and premium numbers

• Planning for and implementation of an automated Number Management system (NMS), including the migration from systems and processes used for Number Management today

• Gather and take the full responsibility for all manual Numbering related issues within Commercial/Marketing

• Define and implement one common manual Number Management Process (to be implemented in the automated NMS later on)

• Take care of and solve all day-to-day Numbering related problems and issues within Commercial/Marketing, as well as provide support to all teams on an as-needed basis

• Research & analyse competition and regulatory positions on Number Management

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on Number requirements including fixed and mobile as well as short codes and free phone numbers

• Plan, document and ensure proper Numbering related internal material to all departments

• Manage the allocation of numbers, as per the business plan

-->QUALIFICATION:
Business or Engineering university degree

-->EXPERIENCE:
At least 2-3 years of work experience in a similar position in the telecommunication industry or on the regulatory front

The candidate should be a team player and possess excellent communication- & presentation skills, and is expected to possess advanced process and business understanding.

• Good understanding of Number Management functionality in IS/IT systems

• Strong knowledge of Device, SIM, voucher, OTA, Numbering plan management service architecture

• Knowledge of mobile voice and data service architecture
