Senior Storeman - Construction

Job description / Role

- To coordinate, lead and direct the tactical/operational outputs of the Logistics Department.
- To supervise and lead storemen in the delivery of logistics functions.
- To promote and drive warehouse and inventory best practice.
- To control and co-ordinate receipts, delivery and dispatch of company inventory.
- To coordinate daily delivery and support functions. (Receipt, despatch and material handling requirements).
- To coordinate and execute supply solutions in support of user requirements.
- To carry out supervisory checks of logistics processes; material management systems; and to direct logistic resources to meet agreed user requirements.
- To assure stock verification processes.
- To supervise the Logistic Department inputs to SAP and to manage the inventory.
- To oversee and facilitate access, control and support measures for 9 x ISO containers and other internal storage sites.
- To oversee and facilitate access, control and support measures for external sites

Requirements

- A strong logistics background.
- SAP material management experience, or similar ERP systems.
- Experience in developing and implementing work instructions and business procedures.
- Experience in problem solving, developing ideas, articulating plans on paper and coordinating activities to deliver logistics effect.
- Supervisory experience of working in a warehouse and storage facility.
- English written and verbal skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Office excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook.
