Job description / Role
The opportunity is based around strategic risk encompassing all facets of the business in all its possible formats including; regulatory, technology, finance, disaster, reputation and is spread across internal and external known and unknowns relating to telecommunications operators.
The opportunity is a direct report to the CEO who is the key hiring manager as well as some interested parties in the group function. The organisation both at an OpCo level and international level has excellent corporate governance and a superb culture with an active international mobility programme. The OpCo itself is based in Africa in a passive, popular and family friendly location with an active tourist industry.
Requirements
- Must have experience working for a telco operator (preferably OpCo level)
- Must have experience working in a senior risk position for 5+ years
- Exposure reporting at C-level and Board level (including audit and risk committees)
- Must experiencing working outside home country/market for a minimum of 2 years
Successful applicants will show a wide range of experience in Risk Management and Business continuity in multiple geographical locations (preferably emerging markets)
