Senior Strategy Consultant

Job description / Role

A Senior Strategy Business Consultant has comprehensive knowledge of a particular industry, domain, or functional business solution. This professional assists with developing industry, domain, or functional business solution content for proposals. A Senior Business Consultant will have assignments for which she/he is responsible for managing smaller projects or a component of a larger project. They will establish and maintain a working relationship with operational level client management.

A Senior Business Consultant is refining and improving project management skills. He/she also assists with the development of intellectual capital through the Delivery Framework. Additionally, this professional may formally supervise or at a minimum contribute to the performance reviews of junior personnel.

Responsibilities may include:
- Leads, guides and conducts analysis and research for markets, financial matters, efficiency effectiveness and productivity, products and services, as-is processes, organization, IT solutions and physical operating facilities and such.
- Contributes to client engagement delivery by leading the preparation and conduction of interviews and workshops, prepares engagement documentation
- Provides team leadership.
- Manage client relationships in complex environments, build trusted relationship to his/her peers in the client operational management.
- Prepares and leads components of presentations to clients.
- Ability to facilitate moderate complex client meetings.
- Applies company's Delivery Framework in all his or her engagements and serves as a quality assurance reviewer to other business solution projects.
- Supports business development and proposal efforts by contributing to the written functional components of proposals.
- Prepares and leads the preparation of timely and quality client deliverables that meet or exceed team managers and clients expectations.
- Assists in the development of a determined amount of new business and/or identifies follow on work under existing engagement.
- Organizes and packages data to present results/recommendations to the client.

Requirements

- Master's Degree with 3-6 years relevant work experience from consulting and/or industry.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of related industry, domain, or functional business solutions in a team leader capacity from one or more of the following:
- Government (1-3 government sectors).
- Strategy and operating model definition and design (services, organization, process, IT architecture and physical operating facilities).
- IT Solution definition, design, procurement and project management.
- Supply chain and operations development.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and information processing and development skills.
- Demonstrates ability to contribute and lead in a team environment with ownership of key client deliverables.
- Ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities within the client environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts and solutions.
- Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Access preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English language skills.
