Job description / Role
Job Summary:
Primary responsibility include provide assistance in the production of engineering design, development of conceptual design and detail in accordance with preparation of calculations, project requirements, checking of contract drawings and written reports
Accountabilities:
Responsible for checking drawings and design calculations done by other engineers.
Analysis and Design of Substations.
Design of building foundations,
Checking of structural design prepared by junior engineer.
Site visits for inspection and getting the client requirements.
Coordination with Architect, Mechanical, Planning, vendors, other technical agencies and subcontractors
Building up 3D-models with PRIMAVERA project management software
Preparation of Design Documents, Design Drawings of RC and Bill of materials.
Coordination with upstream departments to collect data for various different loads on structures, location of Equipment, pipe supports etc.
Preparation of data for fabrication drawings and detail checking.
Preparation of data for fabrication drawings and detail checking checklist
Provide continuous growth and development of techniques utilized in structural analysis- particularly finite element, fatigue, strain gauging and dynamic analysis
Be careful to add mass to engineering and design standards for structural engineering
Requirements
Education and Experience
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering
Experience:
10-15 years experience in construction industry, out of which 5 years should be in project management.
