Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Qualifications:

B.Sc in Civil Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience in Structural Design work , 5 of which with Consulting /Management companies, experience in design and design review as well as site supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties of the Senior Structural Design Engineer shall include but not be limited to the following tasks:

• Ensure that the quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used in compliance with shop drawings, and report to Construction Manager.
• Review the Structural drawings, reports and specifications submitted by the Design Consultant(s) at each stage of the Design to ensure completeness, correctness and compliance with the scope of work and agreement requirements.
• Carry out constructability review during the Design and modification stages.
• Review the Design Consultant(s) submittals in a timely manner and forward comments to the Design Manager.
• Ensure the Design Consultant(s) incorporates the comments raised from previous stages.

Requirements

Person Specification, Skills, and Knowledge:
• Good verbal and written communications in English.
• Computer literacy with good experience in Software like(E-tab, Safe, STAAD pro….)
• Experience in buildings Structural work.
