Job description / Role
Working on one of KEOs most prestigious projects, a Stadium for the 2022 World Cup, the Senior Structural Engineer will be the primary point of contact for the design management/review process and the provision of technical expertise on all structural aspects of this exciting project.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
A career spanning at least 10 years in the role of Structural Engineer and broad based experience in structural design.
Exposure to complex steel structures, ideally on a Stadium or similarly large projects, preferably in the GCC region.
Experience of design review across all design stages of specific work packages, with respect to the Clients detailed functional brief.
Management of the design process and knowledge of relevant local and international design codes of practice.
Ability to proactively forecast and monitor progress for structural design actions that are on the critical path of design/construction.
The ability to work effectively as part of a site based team and demonstrate a cooperative, attentive, adaptable and professional approach.
Requirements
Applicants will have a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or similar.
Professional registration highly regarded.
Excellent spoken and written English, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Experience working in the GCC region is preferable.
