Senior Structural Engineer, Stadium, Kuwait
Our client is an international practice of integrated consulting engineers with a worldwide reputation for innovation and quality. They are widely acknowledged to be at the leading edge of the construction industry and have contributed to numerous complex and high profile projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to oversea the construction of a stadium project in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day structural engineering aspects of the project.
- Structural engineering resourcing and day to day task allocation for the structural engineers and inspectors working on the project.
- Managing the workload of structural engineers and inspectors (including verification of quality)
- Reporting progress to Project Director, to include the any escalations and key engineering issues.
- Communicate directly with client as required
- Create and manage structural engineering project administrative systems - submittals and RFI listings - including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure.
- Liaise and coordinate with the other engineering teams on site
- Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service and site decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved.
Requirements
- CEng MIStructE, MICE or equivalent professional membership
- Middle East region experience
- Construction/ Site Supervision experience
Remuneration package includes:
- Competitive basic salary (or contract rate for limited company contractors)
