Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

* Gather technical requirements specifications. Ensure to deliver the service within the  agreed scope, meet the schedules and liaison with the vendors and Ooredoo Bus.
* Participate in In-House Development applications for service provisioning, mainly in Comptel Instant Link product.
* Define all  inter-system relationships. Detailed verification and analysis of IT Change Requests
* Defines all  Requirements Analysis mappings for existing solution. Liaison with the vendor and the Network team for implementing the technical requirements in  respect to OSS, provisioning and mediation systems.
* Define Infrastructure Specifications required for new solutions.
* Specifies requirements and Designs solutions for all inter-system relationships
* Works with problem management to proactively reduce the number of incidents ensure the correct  level and number of resources are resolving specific problems
* Works with Technical Designer to define the architecture of the business solution. Actively involved with the vendors in the design and architecture of the solution.
* Participate in preparing training and development plans for the provisioning system  and application users.
* Use diagnostic tools and processes to measure impacts of the incidents on the business and defined SLAs.
* Defines the priory to resolve problems. Manage incident/problem relationship and Coordinate with change and release management process
* Monitors to ensure that vendors comply with their contracts
* Pass on genuine faults to vendors:
- Agree category /class of fault with vendor and end user representative
- Monitor  time taken by vendor to fix
- Coordinate system, user and operational tests
- Coordinate release of bug fix into production
* Fix faults in internally developed applications and or those developed by other for which Ooredoo have and are responsible for the source code
* Agree category/class of fault with end user representative and allocate appropriate resources to fix within service levels
* Coordinate  system, user and operational test
* Coordinate release of bug fix into production
* Coordinate and or deliver end user training
* Undertake applications administration and implement controls to ensure valid and authorised access to the application
* Liaise with other groups to deliver service and manage cross application/functional issues

Business Impact

* React to business changes by modifying the systems related to the changed area

Costs & Profitability
Ensure that the Project is delivered as per SoW and within budget. Analyze and control the changes as required.

* Use the existing, defined procedures to resolve routine problems
* First line troubleshooting and analysis
* Recovery and workaround measures
* Vendor management and escalation
* Corrective measures and permanent fix

Planning & Organizing
Follow the plans already defined by the department to achieve the tasks assigned to the job holder
- PIP and milestone tracking
- Issues, risks, and escalation
- Progress reports and regular project review meeting
- Acceptance, project closure and handover Team working, Coaching/Development & Leadership (Coaching & Leadership applicable to people managers)
This role is totally depending on team work ,coordination and knowledge transfer to users

Communicating, negotiating & influencing

- Analyzing and explaining technical requirements required for integration to other systems
- identifying and expressing changes to procedures/processes triggered by new systems or new system functionality.

Decision Making within his/her own area

Requirements

* Bachelor in Telecoms Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent.
* Proficient in Corporate, Industry and Professional Standards.
* Excellent knowledge in Comptel Instant Link product.
* Expert in Business Analysis Techniques.
* Expert in Operations Support Systems, provisioning and mediation systems.
* Expert in Application Development Methods, Techniques and Standards.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a Telecommunications and IT.
