The RoleThe RoleAdministration of Servers and PC Workstations. Administration of Local Area Network and Active Directory. Administration of corporate applications (E-Mail, Internet, Sharepoint..etc). Working experience various technologies (i.e. Virtualization, SAN, Clustering, Enterprise Backup...etc). Perform software upgrades and software installation. Investigate/Troubleshoot/Resolve systems issues in a timely manner. Program/Configure Business Application as applicable to reflect the requirements of existing business practices. Document all changes. Provide software applications documentation and provide training support on the use of software packages or functionality updates. Ability to coach/educate less experienced engineers and key business users. Project Handling: Participate in specification and engineering of new/enhanced systems to meet the operational and business requirements of SAMREF. This includes: • Specification of hardware, software and application functionality • Development of Complex Business Analysis schematic diagrams such as Data Flow • Diagrams and business process requirements. • Supervising network cabling, computer hardware and software installation (by • contractors or others), • System commissioning • Documentation (manuals, drawings, etc) • Developing user training material and conducting key user training where required. |
RequirementsRequirementsEducational Requirements or Equivalent: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Good level of English proficiency. Specialized Knowledge: (Where applicable) A working knowledge in Programming Languages, Database Technology, SAP Applications. Expert in Field. Previous Experience Required: 6-8 years experience. |
