Job description / Role
The main purpose of this role is to provide efficient consultative and proactive recruitment services to the middle east business.
Key duties include;
Consults with businesses on staffing strategy, hiring and sourcing trends.
Provides extensive breadth of market knowledge and expertise of talent acquisition process and strategies
Participates in business meetings to stay updated on what is happening in the line of business and geography in terms of new business, projects that are ending and skill needs.
Sets up and facilitates recruitment meetings
Works with hiring managers to refine their job descriptions, provides a slate of candidates for open requisitions, consults on hiring decisions, chairs feedback sessions with Hiring Managers, works on the development of the offer, negotiates the offer with the candidate on behalf of the company and hiring group.
Work with bid managers to identify internal and external talent for key roles.
Ensure their team are inputting and updating data in AGRS on a real time basis.
Optimizes job postings and screening questions for marketability for both internal and external positions
Develops and executes sourcing strategies; Introduces new sourcing techniques to hiring managers and colleagues
Screens and interviews candidates; creates the candidate funnel on requisitions to provide the hiring manager with a slate of candidates by conducting resume reviews and candidate phone screens
Prepares candidates for screenings/interviews by supplying as much information as possible to candidate about AECOM, business line and the position
Positively positions AECOM to candidates
Closes offer by proactively addressing any reservations or concerns
Supervises and coaches the TA team members for the region in which they operate
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum six years proven track record recruiting to best practice
Proven experience of recruiting construction staff at all levels
