Job Description
* Responsible for tracking the delivery of the Emiratisation department's objectives and initiatives through effective project management techniques.
* Responsible for supporting the execution of appropriate Emiratisation initiatives and supporting the end-to-end Emiratisation process to deliver agreed objectives in line with the bank's vision.
* Responsible for updating Emiratisation and diversity dashboards on a regular basis.
* Key contributor to promote the activities related Emiratisation through agreed communication and marketing channels.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities

* Responsible for tracking the progress of the bank's Emiratisation Steering Committee and working group in coordination with senior stkaeholders (Head of Emiratisation Initiatives, Regional Head of TA, etc.)
* Support the Head of Emiratization Initiatives to build relationships with both local and international educational institutions in order to attract local talent that are studying both within or outside UAE. Participate in intern, graduate and MA recruitment events and activities (e.g. careers fairs), as required to market the Bank's brand as ""Employer of Choice"".
* Conduct appropriate research and consolidate existing data to present current situation regarding localisation initiatives and programs including strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.
* Responsible to deliver updates and progress reports on Emiratisation dashboard as well as other related records.
* Conduct appropriate forecasting exercise in coordination with HR Business Partners, TA Specialists, and other stakeholders.
* Responsible to track the progress of Emiratisation budget, supporting the Head of Emiratisation Initiatives to run effective campaigns while keeping an eye on cost
* Key contributor to the new Emiratisation proposals submitted to the Bank's Steering Committee and various Working Groups.
* Responsible for the delivery of Emiratisation updates through agreed communication and marketing channels
* Ongoing clean up on the bank's graduate programs tracking record, building up historical data to help the Bank analyse both strengths and areas of improvement
* Participate whenever required in the development, sourcing and engagement activities conducted by the team.
* Responsible of analyzing local attrition details in coordination with National Engagement Manager and provide detailed analysis on attrition.
* Help co-ordinate delivery of the Emiratisation Magazine twice a year.
* Responsible for Department updates and administration.

Targets, Budgets & Governance

* Agree, monitor and deliver on the Emiratisation budget and conduct cost saving exercises.
* Monitor Emiratisation ratios based on Business figures.
* Ensure compliance with relevant operational and people risk controls.
* Escalate any issues and risks, so that they can be appropriately tracked and managed.
* Track and monitor progress/ action plans in coordination with Head of Emiratisation Initiatives and Regional Head of Talent Acquisition.

Reporting & System Management

* Monitor graduate database for easy and fast retrieval, and regularly conducting system 'housekeeping'
* Analyse dashboards, reports and MI to proactively monitor and interpret internal and external conditions, using these findings to deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement.
* Regular updates with HR Business Partners to generate Emiratisation forecast.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills
Essential

* Understanding and experience in supporting implementation of Emiratisation strategies and managing multiple channels to deliver Emiratisation targets and objectives within budget. Experience working with different managerial levels along with excellent knowledge of the market place, competitors and best practice.
* Strong consulting skills and experience in translating business objectives into Emiratisation solutions / requirements through diagnostics and needs analysis .
* Ability to deal assertively with conflict, and remain positive when under pressure
* Good organisational skills - ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage data, and set/achieve deadlines (both short and long term)
* Capacity to think creatively, laterally and strategically
* Strong influencing skills to position the strategy as a meaningful priority at all levels within the business.
* Previous experience of managing localization projects with demonstrated success in areas of retention, development and engagement.
* Exceptional communication skills in English - both written and oral.
* Professionally qualified (minimum of a Bachelor Degree).
* Experience in operating in a matrix environment
* Previous experience of managing complex and multi-faceted cross-functional projects.
* Initiative and commitment to achieve

Desirable

* Experience in an international professional services / banking environment
* Proven experience in working in a complex matrix, with a broad base of cultures, dealing with demanding and fast-paced client groups
* Demonstrable knowledge of banking / divisions
* Written and spoken Arabic
