Senior Tax Manager - Cairo

Job description / Role

Our client, one of the global top tier Professional Services Company, is currently looking for a technically strong Senior Tax manager to join their office in Cairo.

The Role
Identifying and understanding complex International tax issues in relation to cross border investments and transactions. (Understanding of Tax treaties, transaction related advice and structuring. To be performed through the analysis of financial statements, term sheets, purchase agreements, client correspondence and returns, and to evaluate the business, financial and accounting implications of such issues as they relate to specific transactions.

Providing private equity and corporate buyers with a broad continuum of advisory services to support mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, investment and financing structures, and divestiture planning across more than one jurisdiction.

Providing transaction support throughout the M&A lifecycle including: deal structuring to accomplish our clients' value realization goals; due diligence findings, structuring observations, tax review comments on legal contracts and financial models; transaction closing and funds flow assistance; restructuring; advance ruling requests.

Requirements

- Must have an international accounting designation or tax qualification
- Must be Western passport holder
- International experience in cross border transactions and project finance structuring in particular within the EU zone and/ Middle East.
- Transaction related tax advisory experience required
- Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership

Salary
US$ 160,000 - 170,000 (total gross salary per year)
