The RoleThe RoleOman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP) is an upstream Oil & Gas company based in the Sultanate of Oman. We are now urgently seeking to appoint a Senior Technical Recruitment Consultant (contractor) specializing in Upstream Oil & Gas to be based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. This position will be a part of a small dynamic team assisting and implementing the daily recruitment function in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner, within a very busy environment. This role’s responsibilities will include; * Engaging in the hiring activities,(Full Cycle Recruiting,)including working with the assigned managers to support their need for new or replacement personnel. * Works closely with OOCEP managers on recruitment strategies, hiring procedures and company policies * Thoroughly evaluates technical / operational & managerial candidates to check personal qualifications against job requirements * Assisting in building technical & non-technical job descriptions and suitable advertisements with hiring teams * Providing a suitable hiring plan and building confidence and credibility with hiring managers teams * Working with hiring managers and related teams on a daily basis to provide a professional customer service * Sets expectations with hiring managers & teams and provides a “consultative approach” to recruiting. * Providing results in a metrics driven environment * Advising managers of hiring processes keeping them updated as to the status of all relevant open positions. * Ensuring that recruiting processes reflect use of consistent high quality practices and reflect the needed sense of urgency * Coordinating the administration of all requisitions, job postings, offer letters and on-boarding procedures. * Managing relationships with outside recruiting agencies as necessary * Presenting high level recruiting updates to senior management on a regular basis * Contributing to ad hoc recruiting projects * Ensuring OOCEP’s compliance with all applicable employment laws * Interviews, shortlists, negotiates salaries / conditions / start dates with candidates. |
RequirementsRequirements* Minimum 10 years recruitment experience in Upstream Oil & Gas. * Degree or equivalent in Business or Engineering. * Excellent communication skills (English is a must) * Solid negotiation skills. * Strong technical understanding. * Middle East experience (Preferable) |
