Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Participates in performing a wide variety of skilled tasks including repairs, troubleshooting and calibration of online process analytical instrumentation, Gas Chromatograph, CEMS analyser. Proficient in the operation and maintenance of various analysers.

Key Accountabilities:
- Installation, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, replacement of Analysers and Instrumentation adhering to company's SEQ policy.
- To read and review technical illustrations, specifications, wiring, P&ID and PFD Diagrams for maintenance and troubleshooting requirements
- To cover electrical foreman duties, when delegated.
- Assist National Trainees for their development

Requirements

- Must have at least completed secondary school, followed by related vocational training program (TAFE).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Analyser Technician or similar role in a reputed Oil & Gas company.
- Must have hands-on experience with the operation and maintenance of CEMS, GCs, O2, CO, PH, H2S, SO2, TOC, Freeze Point, Flash Point etc. Analysers (familiarity with ABB/Daniel/Siemens equipment will have an advantage).
- Must have ability to read and review technical illustrations, specifications, wiring, P&ID and PFD Diagrams.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
