Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Carries out the skilled maintenance and repair of Company telecommunications equipment such as Fibre Optic systems & networks, PA/GA systems, CCTV systems, Microwave systems, VHF/UHF narrow-band radio systems, LAN networks, PABX systems & networks, Audio/Visual systems, Entertainment systems, Structured cabling, Power supplies etc. at Ras Laffan LNG plant and offshore (as required).

Works on standard routine tasks. Solves task specific problems through the application of precedent.
Undertakes subordinate advisory role and assists supervisor and others as appropriate. Refers problems of a more complex or less familiar nature to immediate supervisor

Requirements

Minimum 5 years directly related experience in the repair and maintenance of telecommunications equipment as referred to in the Basic Function and Scope.

Completion of Secondary education (12 years) plus two years full-time training in telecommunications.

Good written and spoken English.
