This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Highways professional looking to develop his professional career on a high status project. You will work on one of the largest infrastructure projects in the Middle East. It is a long term, secure and iconic project, the successful completion of which will get world-wide attention. It is a long term and stable opportunity suiting candidates who are here already or who have experience of working in the Region. The role is to provide Traffic and Transportation Engineering expertise within the client Project team focused on highlighting, and mitigating the impacts of the Project on the wider Road network, and using all of the Traffic and Transportation tool to evidence impacts and propose solutions.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:
You need to have a degree in Transportation or a related subject.
You need to have a track record of experience working as a traffic engineer with exposure to major projects.
You need to have the ability to bring pragmatic solutions with technical expertise.
Middle East experience is ideal.
You will also have strong project management and communication skills.

Key Elements of the Role
Provide expertise in the area of traffic impacts assessment and management for a major infrastructure project.
Provide opinion on the technical output of other Consultants and develop technical outputs to ensure the right traffic outcomes relating to the Project;
Provide Traffic Engineering expertise for Road Safety Audits regarding the project.
Must have experience of undertaking Traffic Impact Assessments with good knowledge and experience of implementing Traffic Management measures.
Must have experience of using Traffic Forecasting techniques and of Project Feasibility studies, through design and into operation on street.
