Parsons Brinckerhoff currently has a strong transportation business in Kuwait and we are currently looking to recruit a Senior Traffic Engineer
Responsibilities
•Lead all kinds of traffic engineering analysis using the latest software/approaches and develop mitigation for a variety of real life situations
•Apply the latest analysis software including Microsimulation software to analyze data and develop solutions for a variety of situations
•Lead the planning, setting up and operation of traffic signals and systems
•Lead in applying ITS and latest technologies to optimize traffic operation
•Carry out traffic impact assessment for small and large developments
•Work closely with traffic modeling and planning teams involved in the context of large urban areas Lead in the planning, designing and executing traffic surveys
•Assess training needs of team and provide appropriate training
•Assist in preparing proposals Prepare and make formal presentation
•Prepare comprehensive reports
Requirements
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 10 years experience
BSc in Engineering
Masters Degree with emphasis on Transportation Planning preferred
Middle East experience preferred but not essential
