Job description / Role
Change International is currently searching for a Senior Training Development Officer for their client in Doha. This role will provide advanced administrative support to the training and development function.
Role Responsibilities
• Review incoming ITN forms and perform initial screening to ensure that they are in compliance with procedures.
• Assist the line superiors in the identification of training needs to ensure that these are scheduled and addressed
• Prepare periodic activity and progress reports to keep management and T&D department informed on the progress and performance of trainees
• Participate in the planning and execution of rig familiarisation tours for visitors and trainees
• Design, establish and evaluate training programs to develop nationals towards established positions
• Initiate the placement of national trainees into established positions in conjunction with the supervisor and line managers
• Participate in the identification of employees for potential further development
• Prepare and deliver technical orientation and induction programs for newly hired employees to enable them to become familiarised with company systems and processes
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources/Business Administration / Commerce from a recognised university
• 4 years relevant experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years within Training and Development preferably within an oil and gas industry
• Counselling, mentoring and training skills
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English and Arabic
• Experience in operating Oracle based HRMS software applications
