Overview
Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP) is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Training Specialist for the Human Capital Department. Reporting to the Human Capital Manager the role will be based in Muscat - Sultanate of Oman.

Job Responsibilities & Activities
• Identify training and development needs within a company through job analysis, appraisal schemes or through frequent consultation with the management, department managers.
• Involved with the long-term improvement of an employee’s skills so that their potential can find full expression and lead to the growth of the office too.
• Identify and assess training needs of staff by conferring with managers and supervisors or conducting surveys.
• Responsible for developing a comprehensive training package to motivate employees and imbibe in them newer skills.
• Constantly monitor and revise programs to ensure relevance, practicality and suitability.
• Make estimates of the costs of these training programmes and keep expenses within the budget.
• Develops training content - handouts, outlines, agendas and syllabi.
• Maintain and report competence assessment and OJT results.
• Develop and utilize tracking tools for maintaining records and reporting KPI’s.
• Make assessment of the return on investment of any training or development programme.
• Design the company annual training calendar based on the Individual Development Plan.
• Develop effective induction programmes for new joiners.
• Updated of training vendors and available courses/ programs
• Work with Area/discipline Supervisors to ensure smooth implementation and management of training programs.
• Coordinate and manage logistics of training workshops.
• Administer the college/university recruiting program.
• Market training opportunities to increase awareness and participation.
• Coordinate all logistics associated with the college recruiting and trainees recruiting.
• Handling Graduates & TOP development & recruitment.

Minimum Requirements of Education, Experience, Skills

• Degree in Business/ Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years experience with building and delivering technical training programs and 5 years in upstream oil/gas operations.
• Should have a broad experience in blended training methods and are familiar with online training methods.
• Well-developed English communication skills.
• Well-developed IT skills with particular experience in the use of MS Office packages Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Technical Writing experience a plus.
