Senior Transformation Specialist – BPT

Our client, a well respected public works authority for the country of Qatar, is looking to immediately recruit a qualified and experienced Senior Transformation Specialist (Business Process Testing) to participate in the growth and development of the business. With the practical completion of Qatar’s comprehensive national master plan, the state is about to embark on a major infrastructure construction campaign which will see project design and construction activity as well as job opportunities continue to grow for years to come.

Working as part of the corporate team, your responsibilities in this role will include:

• To support the development and maintenance of the Programme Implementation Plan as it relates to BPT Activities; ensuring adequate integration between BPT activities and other related initiatives (e.g. Organisational Development, ICT, etc.)
• Support the Project Management Office in monitoring the execution of BPT activities to ensure compliance with the Programme Plan.
• To identify risks associated with BPT implementation; outlining Mitigation Measures, and reporting those to the Project Management Office.
• Continuous liaison with the Implementation Team and providing technical review on any BPT-related products / advice generated by the BPT Implementation Team.
• Support the BPT Implementation team in the roll out of relevant initiatives / activities.
• Generating adequate options / recommendations on process re-engineering requests to overcome potential implementation challenges as and when they arise.
• Executing assigned activities as per the Change Management Plan (Training, Communications, Stakeholder Management).
• Provide Coaching / Mentoring to Implementation Team as and when required

Requirements

Essential attributes include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business with a Masters being desired.
• Professional Certifications (e.g. Six Sigma, ISO, etc.) desirable but not essential.
• A minimum of 8 – 10 years in consulting with a strong focus on Business Process Re-engineering (cross functional) and development of Policies and Procedures.
• Exposure to the Construction / Real Estate Sectors preferred; Process Re-Engineering experience in Government (GCC) also highly regarded.
• English language fluency required with Arabic language skills being highly regarded.
• Extensive knowledge of Business Process Re-Engineering Tools, Techniques, and Methodologies
• Superior leadership skills, problem solving, analytical thinking and communication skills are required.
